Today, I welcomed India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry @PiyushGoyal and @IndianDiplomacy delegation to Tallinn. We discussed ways to deepen economic cooperation between Estonia and India.
The EU-India Free Trade Agreement presents significant opportunities to strengthen mutual investment between India and the European Union.
In addition, we held an Estonia-India business forum, where we brought together and strenghented ties between Estonian entrepreneurs and representatives of the Indian business sector.
Estonia and India remain committed to strengthening our strategic partnership.
Today marks the Day of International Criminal Justice and 28 years since the adoption of the Rome Statute.
Since its establishment, @IntlCrimCourt has become a cornerstone of global justice and accountability, ensuring that perpetrators of the gravest violations of international law are prosecuted, and that victims can seek justice and reclaim their dignity.
Estonia 🇪🇪 remains a steadfast supporter of an independent and impartial ICC and its vital mandate to prevent, investigate, and prosecute international crimes.
Estonia supports further measures.
Those who fuel Russia’s war machine and enable deadly attacks on Ukrainian civilians will face consequences. We will continue to increase pressure on the aggressor by every available means.
12 years ago today, Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 was shot down, killing 298 innocent people.
As we honour the victims and stand with their families, we reaffirm that justice demands accountability. Russia must accept responsibility for this tragedy.

"We can't always talk about supporting Ukraine, and then on the other hand give visas to Russian citizens."
Commissioner @magnusbrunner is right. It's time to bring the number of visas issued to Russian citizens down even further.

🇪🇺 EU sanctions 15 individuals and one entity, responsible for human rights violations against Ukrainian prisoners of war and civilian detainees both in the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine and in Russia.
❌ Among those listed is Dmitry Neelov, deputy head of the Olenivka prison, directly responsible for the mass killing of Ukrainian POWs on 28-29 July 2022, having deliberately delayed evacuation of the wounded after the attack.
The Pre-trial detention center-2 Taganrog (SIZO 2) was also sanctioned – the facility where systematic torture led to the death of Ukrainian journalist Viktoriia Roshchyna after a year in detention.
Those listed face an asset freeze, a travel ban preventing entry or transit through EU territory, while EU citizens and companies are prohibited from making funds available to them.
According to the UN, 95% of released Ukrainian POWs report having been tortured – evidence that this is a systemic Russian state policy, not isolated misconduct.
The system of violence must be stopped by deepening Russia's isolation from the international platforms and expanding sanctions pressure until those responsible are held accountable.
Ever since launching its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has worked in parallel to prepare lawsuits against the Baltic states at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), turning international law into a lawfare battle. NEW FROM US!👇https://t.co/6KpZdPgMm8
Starting on 1 December 2026, 🇩🇪 fighter jets will take to the 🇪🇪 skies again to protect our shared security and freedom. This will be their 17th (!) participation in NATO Baltic Air Policing since 2005 and the 9th time based in Ämari.

The UK is strengthening its military presence in Estonia.
A landmark 🇬🇧–🇪🇪 Defence Roadmap will increase the UK deployment to around 1,200 troops equipped with advanced weapons and drones, pre-position equipment for rapid reinforcement, and deepen defence industry cooperation.
Great news from 🇳🇴.
Support for the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine continues to grow. Accountability is gathering momentum.
The shadow fleet is more than a way to move sanctioned oil.
It exploits seafarers, undermines maritime safety, weakens international shipping standards and raises the risk of environmental disasters.
Behind every ageing tanker there is a human cost.
Delivery on 🇪🇺's competitiveness, values & security - guided by the principle of 'strength with unity'.
Aitäh @MFAestonia for hosting today's event on @Ireland2026eu, 🇮🇪's EU Presidency.
Special thanks to @KairiKunka, Siiri Königsberg & @martinrogerEE for their participation!

In Ankara, Estonia 🇪🇪 joined the Anduril Industries long-range strike capability initiative with the US 🇺🇸, Latvia 🇱🇻and Poland 🇵🇱. The agreement strengthens our access to future capabilities and creates opportunities for our defence companies to join international supply chains.
