Every country on earth would unhesitatingly also bribe FIFA to allow their top goalscorer to keep playing, don't let any of them make you feel bad about that.
Over the course of a lifetime, we face only a few moments where the decisions we make and the actions we take will shape our history for years to come. This is one of them.
Today is a good day to research what resistance to ICE is happening in your actual, physical, local neighborhood and community, do what you can to support it, and continue to keep it off the internet.

Yesterday, we had the honor of hearing Senator Howard Lee speak at The Hunt Institute.
A member of our Board since THI’s founding 25 years ago (and a close friend of Governor Jim Hunt for many decades) the NC State Senator shared reflections on his career, his friendship with Gov. Hunt, and his appreciation for the continued work to carry forward Gov. Hunt’s vision for education in North Carolina and across the nation.
Sen. Lee made history in 1969 as the first African American elected mayor of Chapel Hill—and the first to serve as mayor of a majority-white Southern city. He went on to serve as Secretary of the NC Department of Environmental and Natural Resources, as a State Senator, and as Chair of the NC State Board of Education.
We are grateful for his leadership and his enduring commitment to expanding opportunity for students and educators across the U.S.
