Today, I had the distinct honor of attending my inaugural ZANU-PF Central Committee meeting at the party headquarters. I extend my profound gratitude to the First Secretary and President, His Excellency Cde Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, alongside the ZANU-PF Manicaland Provincial leadership, for reposing their trust and confidence in me with this momentous assignment. It was truly inspiring to receive the strategic and revolutionary marching orders directly from our Head of State, aimed at advancing the core mission of our formidable party. These instructions demand that we remain deeply rooted among the people, serving with humility and executing the party's mandate with absolute precision.
In his address, President E.D. Mnangagwa eloquently reminded us that under the Second Republic, our national empowerment and wealth-creation initiatives are anchored on an immutable principle: political independence without economic self-reliance is fundamentally incomplete. True sovereignty is measured by our capacity to feed our people, industrialize our economy, and modernize our infrastructure from within. While we remain appreciative of external partners who collaborate with us across various sectors, the ultimate mandate for national development rests squarely upon our own shoulders. This is a foundational truth that must resonate with every Zimbabwean, across generations:

I am PROFOUNDLY grateful to his royal Highness PRINCE LINDANI for his invaluable support in facilitating the luncheon, where HMK reaffirmed his confidence that the growing partnership between the Kingdom of Eswatini and the PRIVATE SECTOR will translate into tangible SOCIO-ECONOMIC benefits for us emaSwati. EMPTY ENVELOPES…NONSENSICAL ALLEGATIONS! 🤣🤣🤣
My attention has been drawn to a RATHER STUPID video circulating on social media which PURPORTS to show envelopes bearing the names of SENIOR GOVERNMENT and PARTY OFFICIALS and some very SMALL amounts of money written on each envelope. The video also UNLAWFULLY uses the sweet melody of my voice, singing to the “2030 ndeya EMMERSON” song as a VOICE OVER, to create the FALSE IMPRESSION that I am the individual singing in the background.
While I have no doubt whatsoever that indeed “2030 ndeya EMMERSON” and I certainly love that song, but I CATEGORICALLY and UNEQUIVOCALLY dismiss the video with the greatest CONTEMPT it deserves. I have NO KNOWLEDGE whatsoever of this video, its origin or its creators. It is FALSE, misleading, MALICIOUS and so POORLY conceived that it collapses under even the slightest scrutiny. It is nothing more than another DESPERATE ATTEMPT, usually typical of failed and fractured OPPOSITION politicians, to manufacture controversy where none exists. It is also a CRIMINAL OFFENCE and whoever is behind this misdemeanour is criminally liable for violating cyber laws of the country.
What is particularly telling is the TIMING of this FICTION. #CAB3 was extensively DEBATED in Parliament before RESOUNDINGLY sailing through and being OVERWHELMINGLY voted for by the majority of MPs, including those from the opposition. Having failed to stop the #CAB3 gravy train, some LOW-LIFE individuals now appear determined to rewrite the narrative by ALLEGING corruption and making me a SCAPEGOAT upon whom they can project their frustrations. Unfortunately, dragging innocent and VERY SENIOR people into such imaginary scandals does not alter the fate of #CAB3. The distinguished officials whose names have been unnecessarily dragged into the mud are individuals whom I hold in the HIGHEST REGARD and respect. In particular, the Minister of Defence and National Chairperson of ZANU-PF, Hon. Oppah Muchinguri, is an INCORRUPTIBLE and accomplished public servant of UNQUESTIONABLE integrity. Yesterday will FOREVER rank amongst the GREATEST HONOURS of my life. To be granted audience by a KING is a privilege afforded to very few men, and I remain profoundly HUMBLED and deeply GRATEFUL to HIS MAJESTY KING MSWATI III, of the KINGDOM OF ESWATINI, for receiving me at the ROYAL PALACE and extending to me ROYAL HOSPITALITY that exceeded every expectation. Being welcomed into the presence of HIS MAJESTY and afforded the opportunity to engage him on various matters of MUTUAL INTEREST was an EXTRA-ORDINARY experience that I will cherish for the REST OF MY LIFE.
What PARTICULARLY took me by SURPRISE was His Majesty’s keen interest in the PHILANTHROPIC WORK that I have undertaken in Zimbabwe and across the African continent. I didn’t know his ROYAL HIGHNESS followed social media 🙏🏼 and was well ACQUINTED with the developments in that cyber-space. He also highly COMMENDED my support of REVOLUTIONARY PARTIES in the Southern African Region, particularly ZANU PF under the visionary leadership of H.E. President E.D MNANGAGWA. Our discussions extended FAR BEYOND business and investment and focused on the RESPONSIBILITY that YOUNG Africans have to uplift communities, create OPPORTUNITIES and contribute meaningfully towards the SOCIO-ECONOMIC development of our Continent.

I took the opportunity to congratulate His Excellency on further STRENGTHENING relations between two of Africa’s most STRONGEST economies, Kenya and South Africa, through the signing of several bilateral cooperation agreements covering TRADE, ENERGY, TOURISM, Skills Development and INVESTMENT PROMOTION. The growing economic relationship between the two countries already accounts for more than USD11 BILLION in annual commercial activity and continues to unlock new opportunities for business and industrial growth.
As a man of ACTION, President Ruto has achieved INTERNATIONAL SUCCESSES alongside an equally AMBITIOUS domestic development programme. His Excellency has continued to champion major RURAL ELECTRIFICATION projects, expanding access to affordable energy through his recent commissioning of the MARIAKANI 400/220kV Substation, which is set to strengthen Kenya’s transmission network and support the country’s renewable energy ambitions.
