Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny is an entertaining, well paced addition to the series. Ford is fantastic as usual and Mangold is strong at the helm. While the movie does not come close to quality of the original trilogy it is safely a notch above Crystal Skull

Latest addition to the Blu Ray collection, The Crow (1994). One of my favorite comic book movies. Stylish, gritty and just incredibly cool. Rest in peace Brandon Lee.

'Life is But a Dream' is blowing my mind. Only four tracks in and it's truly something special. It's Avenged Sevenfold at its best and yet nothing like they've ever done before. Haunting, immersive and beautiful

Resuming my Blu Ray collection, my latest purchase: The Driver (1978). A breezy action classic with some of the most thrilling and impressive car chases put to film. Ryan O'Neal oozes cool in every frame he's in.

Watched a Star Wars marathon in 35mm at the Ritz Cinemas, Sydney. Definitely appreciate the prequels more now. Revenge of the Sith is a masterpiece. Experiencing John Williams' score for 14 hours straight was divine.

David Twohy's Pitch Black - a sci-fi film with no pretensions. With great tension & some very good effects, it shows the star power of Vin Diesel (strong in the lead). A small film in the mould of Aliens, Pitch Black is better than bigger genre works with much larger budgets.

Beau is Afraid was an experience I'm certainly not forgetting anytime soon and for that reason alone I'm glad it exists. It's a big, bold, hilarious movie that has a lot to say and for the most part I was on board.Might need to watch it again to decide if I really liked it though

Evil Dead Rise is a brilliant addition to the series. It's a fresh take with a lot of the originals' charm. Lily Sullivan is a fantastic protagonist, Alyssa Sutherland was incredible and the violence was delicious. Loved it!
