@rockerskating Not sweet Caroline please. I’m a Red Sox fan and I hate it. It’s a song about leering at a child Caroline Kennedy. Very creepy w pedophile overtones (I’m not saying ND is one but widely known inspiration) though he has backpedaled on the origin story as it gained popularity.
@LynnGillis05210@S70Dr_v2 Refuse to sing sweet Caroline because of the history. How it became a Red Sox anthem is a sweet story but the song itself is not sweet
@trppleloops My #1 issue with skating across all disciplines. I’d love to see more accountability for judges and PCS that actually matches the skating on the ice.
@rockerskating Yes. But how? I’d start with the actual rhythm dance w pattern dance again. Clear measurable steps for everyone and clear distinctions between teams.
@krobill2 He did but his skating was totally overscored because he could jump. Not the only one but he didn’t have a lot in between at first. The past couple of seasons he’s skates have been much improved in overall skating.
@BillieJeanKing@usta He was the voice of tennis when I was growing up. No GS was complete without Bud’s just off the court interview, particularly Wimbledon. ❤️ and those outfits!
@AnythingGOE I don’t like this at all. What (or who) promoted this change? It’s bad enough that some countries will give away citizenship but for ISU to decide to override that by allowing someone w/o even pending citizenship to skate is ridiculous 😡
@wthrnghghtsfd I think that is likely related to the new seeding rules. Reduced travel, no back to back for some, limited options with the seeding rules.
