@KKNTeachLearn I have been teaching for 30+ years and decided to go part time this year, down to 3 days. Big hit on the bank balance but I feel so much better mentally and I know enjoy going to work. Best decision I have ever made!
@Teacherglitter@teacherthunks Both yourself and your daughter have such beautiful names, why would anyone try to shorten them?? I hate it when people assume they can shorten my name and as a teacher, I always ask what students want me to call them. It is all about respect.
There is no question that the French President is a friend of the United Kingdom. This moving statement from one Head of State on the passing of another makes the love and respect between our nations and peoples clear
@shadylady222 Same here, I thought I was immune! Now on day 5 and starting to feel human again, the first three days were rough. Hoping to return to school tomorrow 🤞🏻.
@Headteacherchat I wanted to be a nurse or a teacher. I was born in the 60's, and careers for women were mostly secretarial or nurturing jobs. I don't think I would follow the same path, if I could start again!
Here is the reality of MFL harsh grading. Son did AS mock exams (2019 boundaries) : 45% in maths got a C, 51% in business gets a C, but 66.5 % in French got a C. Why, why, why would anybody want to do French at A level, (and GCSE?)
I am delivering an assembly all through next week to celebrate the European day of Languages. After a whole year of Zoom and Loom assemblies, I am feeling a tad nervous! :(
