Our Year 9 oracy task looks different in the set up this year but the end product was the same! Very impressed with the efforts of those who completed it today & very proud of the progress they've made. You did yourselves proud,9W1! @miss_parfitt @HeadteacherBas1 @BassalegSchool1

Loved talking to Year 7 virtually this week about Día de los Muertos. We agreed it's a lovely celebration & festival and we discussed how it's important to learn about the culture alongside the language of a country! Fabulous engagement from pupils, ¡gracias! @HeadteacherBas1

Exceptionally proud of our MFL pupils this half term. Year 7 for focusing so well and making such great progress as beginners, Year 8 for responding so positively to the online lessons, Year 9 for working with mature attitudes & of course the GCSE classes for giving it their all!
