🚨 "SECRET POLICE FORCE" - Governor Mikie Sherrill is LYING again, telling @News12NJ that ICE is a "SECRET POLICE FORCE" who took an oath to a "President, not the Constitution."

Not only is this EXTREMELY DANGEROUS rhetoric putting federal law enforcement at RISK, but also completely EMPTY of ACTION or TRUTH (as usual for Mrs. Sherrill.)

Mrs. Sherrill will do NOTHING to stop the LEGAL enforcement of Immigration law because Under 8 U.S.C. § 1357 ICE officers CAN arrest someone in public without a warrant if they have reasonable belief that the person is in the U.S. illegally and is "likely to escape" before a warrant can be obtained.

Mrs. Sherrill has a law degree, and knows this but she lies to YOU, the NJ Voter anyway.

Interestingly enough, Leftists will defend illegal immigration by stating it is a CIVIL crime (which is true) yet since it is a CIVIL charge and not a CRIMINAL charge, that is what allows for these warrantless arrests to LEGALLY take place.

Kind of backfired on them. 🇺🇸
