It is 2016. DC has released a follow-up to their Superman solo film. It is the second film in a new universe. It has released to mixed reviews. The fandom is in chaos

Craig Gillespie’s #Supergirl is a great follow-up to #Superman. It’s got the underdog rock 'n' roll attitude of Guardians of the Galaxy mixed with the grimy ruthlessness of a Mad Max movie. Tonally it’s a unique concoction, but it works!
It’s a film about fighting for those who show up for us, and as cliche as it sounds, it also reinforces the idea that home is where the heart is.
Milly Alcock brings a sort of aloofness and melancholy to the role that helps create emotional depth. If Corenswet’s Superman believes in everyone, she believes in no one. Momoa’s Lobo is used just enough that you’re satisfied but also want to see more. And the moments we get with Superman further prove why David Corenswet is the perfect choice to portray him.
It’s a solidly entertaining DC adventure that brings another fresh look from James Gunn and Co. I’ve always been a big champion of Gunn and his vision for DC, and this movie only reinforces why I’m excited about where this universe is headed.
'Andor' creator Tony Gilroy's Peabody Awards Acceptance Speech:
“We spent six years contemplating a fascist takeover of a galaxy far, far away. Six years thinking about what happens to ordinary beings when an authoritarian, insane, unchecked regime comes into the deal, and the show is really kind of what we learned"
“If you’re not willing to fight for the things that you love, your family, community, your culture, your planet, your truth, freedom, there’s an asshole ready to come in and take it away. We learned that bravery and sacrifice and resistance comes in all shapes and sizes, and we learned that courage is contagious"
“There’s so much is happening, it’s a fire hose of crap that you just can’t get through. And here we are. There isn’t a new cycle that goes by right now that doesn’t contain a variety of outrages that in any other time in our history in America wouldn’t be grounds for treason"
“Please do not stop. Please do not turn out the lights until we can kill this nightmare… and fuck the Empire!”

The Rams just traded for the best, most dominant player in the NFL. It better be bigger compensation than Micah Parsons. Myles Garrett is a future Hall of Famer.
It's hard to compare apples to apples with the Myles Garrett deal and Micah Parsons deal because the Packers had to extend Parsons, whereas the Rams inherit an existing Garrett contract.
But the Browns' trade compensation dramatically clears the Cowboys' imo
