K-M's High School art students are exhibiting their art work at Mantorville Art Guild March 9-31. Open house reception will be March 16 for students, parents and friends.
KM's Advanced Senior High Art Students leave behind a part of their talents in the Art Department. Each student selects a painting of their favorite artist and paint it on one of the department stools.
Pottery II students learning to throw bowl shapes on potters wheel. After bowls were dried, fired and glazed in kiln, students enjoying breakfast eating from their hand thrown bowls.
ART I-1 studied artist, Georgia O'Keeffe, learned how to layer color pencil, researched how vegetables or fruit grow, and the importance of pollinators to successfully produce a fruit or vegetable. To demonstrate their knowledge, each student created a vegetable or fruit study.
Another memorable school year comes to a close..... BUT not without the help of many Pottery I students cleaning our classroom in preparation for 2018-19 school year. Thank you - couldn't have done it without you.
