She started doing information statements in her early teens, volunteered, shoulder to shoulder with everyday folks, during the war, on and on.

@clazzeretti @ArchCordileone The point was whether the church can do more about these issues. We've worked against the "legality" of abortion, but medical mal-practice is already legislated. Can we hold legislatures responsible for medical malpractice? These are issues that need to be addressed differently.

@clazzeretti @ArchCordileone Part of the reason things seem slow is that A) there are more hoops to go thru here to prove a medicine or procedure, and B) we are a highly litigious society. Because of mal-practice costs, fewer doctors opt to become obstetricians. The few we have are spread thin.
