There is so much that we can learn about caring for our diverse patient population from having more diverse nurse faculty and student populations.

Show them that THEY CAN DO IT, TOO by increasing nurse faculty diversity to act as mentors for minority students.
We can solve the nursing shortage by increasing recruitment of students from low socioeconomic and minority communities.
