💡 Dr. Francoise Mukagaju (@mgajufanny), Rwanda’s first female plastic surgeon, shared how she overcame doubt and discouragement to break into surgery, a field traditionally dominated by men.

💡 Dr. Menelas Nkeshimana (@mnls_nke ), from the Ministry of Health, highlighted critical policy reforms aimed at supporting women in medicine, including new mentorship programs and travel support for female medical residents.

💡 Uwitonze Odille, a first-year medical student, reminded us of the importance of early guidance, noting that mentorship should start well before university.
