@mattyglesias Since we're at it, can someone explain what "cultural marxism" is? It's something wingnuts yell a lot, but, while I know what marxism is, and think I know what culture is, I don't understand how the two intersect to become something sinister.
@DanaHoule In addition to envying and hating Bezos, as someone who has failed at business despite being an unscrupulous cheat, Trump assumes everyone is a cheat just like he is. He just KNOWS there's something there.
As someone who loves fruitcake, I simply cannot understand the hatred for it, especially in the U.K., where there are similar puddings that are quite popular. https://t.co/OfNkx8ARnN via @SmithsonianMag
@mattyglesias He's so wonky, with his head in the clouds thinking abstract thoughts about spreadsheets and Ayn Rand and fiscal responsibility, while maintaining his deep and abiding compassion for the hammock-swingers. You can't expect him to be good at everything.
@AshMcGonigal@WalshFreedom To top it all off, Texas is one of the most GOPish states in the union, in every sense. If the moneybaggers who run the GOP could make all America look like any one state, Texas would be high on the list.
@NathanCHudson To call it a "bad take" is far too kind. That douche has been verbally abusing people for years. What is a proper punishment/deterrent? Would she rather he be jailed?
@SallyAlbright@Gus_802 If you look at the bulk of who comprises that group, it's obvious they aren't burned at all. White, middle class, educated men. They have the luxury of not being scared.
