#LeacockCareCentre celebrated cultural diversity and inclusiveness with an informative and interactive Indigenous presentation last week. Coming together to learn about traditions, art, food and culture, the group enjoyed the multi-faceted educational experience.
Over-regulation of #LTC is having a negative impact on our ability to care for #seniors. The more time staff spend filling out forms, the less time they have at the bedside for direct care. This is a great step forward in making sure we're able to provide #BetterSeniorsCare
There's no "waffling" on this #Fundraising success! #LeacockCareCentre held a fundraising event to support their #PalliativeCare Program. Amie and Debbie made #Homemade#Waffles with all of the toppings, and successfully raised $195 for their initiative. Great work team!
Pups on parade was the name of the game at #LeacockCareCentre! Hosting their first annual "Mutt Strut" in an effort to raise funds for the local @OrilliaSPCA, Residents reveled in the company of local four-legged friends, and raised $150 for the community organization!
A festive #FallFair made its way to #LeacockCareCareCentre! As a collaborative effort between the Restorative and Life Enrichment teams, our Home brought to life an afternoon filled with games and fun that tested both mind and muscle!
