Last time I tried BTRFS with frequent software updates, it only lasted a week before FUBAR.
I'm always told "this was solved", yet keep seeing such horror stories. BTRFS by default is a mistake.
One thing I still miss from zope.testrunner when I use pytest on a project with a large test suite: zope.testrunner would give me the error tracebacks immediately so I can go work on that right now. pytest makes me wait until the entire suite finishes running 10 minutes later.
