Beta testing our new mobile version for yet another very narrow planting window. No-tilling some beans with our 20’ Kinze bean planter. Very time consuming. Nice to have the tool in my pocket! #agriculture#software#precisonag
#AgPhDRadioUpdate | AMS with Liberty
Which spray adjuvant package do you need with Liberty?
Over the last few years, we’ve had a lot of questions about dry ammonium sulfate or AMS and using alternative adjuvants. The number one reason comes down to lugging 51-pound bags around. As agronomists, we prefer ammonium sulfate over anything else since AMS is cheap, it ties up hard-water ions, it slightly lowers water pH, and it contains nitrogen and sulfur to help improve weed control and speed crop recovery. With many herbicides, you can usually get by OK if you use an AMS-replacement product, but that’s not the case with Liberty. The way Liberty kills weeds is it overloads them with ammonia, and there is nothing better to help with this than AMS. So while most spray adjuvants merely help the herbicide spread, stick, or penetrate the leaf, AMS is literally part of how Liberty controls weeds. Always use at least 3 pounds of AMS per acre with Liberty.

Post‑emerge works best when it’s building on a solid foundation.
@hoosieragtoday talked with Syngenta agronomist @MGeiger93 about the early weed control decisions that help set up clean fields by season’s end.
Hint: it starts way before the weeds show up.

@SIU_Basketball Nagy’s techniques on how to squander leads should be studied, as there is no one better at it. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory once again.
Highlights of our 88-82 Big Ten road win at #4 Purdue at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Ind.
Freshman G Keaton Wagler poured in 46 points, including a school-record nine 3-pointers.
It marked the most points ever scored by an opponent at Purdue's Mackey Arena, and the most ever scored in a road win over a top-10 opponent in AP Poll history.
This was one of the most electric performances I can remember watching
The level of difficulty on a lot of these shots was insane
Never thought this would be the last game Cal coached at Kentucky
