Crazy how different this summer has been for Edmonton versus Calgary.

Calgary has had 10.4 mm of rain so fair this month, and I think I've heard thunder twice.

Edmonton has had numerous thunderstorms, and 239.8 mm so far this July! And that's following 263.9 mm in June.

A fast-moving severe thunderstorm forced Saturday night’s Post Malone concert at Commonwealth Stadium to end early, sending concertgoers scrambling into the concourse for shelter as fierce winds and sideways rain battered the stadium.

The concert was ultimately cancelled due to damage to the stage, and attendees were told they will be refunded.
