MGK DAY general information (all from my experience last year and may or may not apply to this year):

-events span the course of 3 days

-main mgk day event was free but required a ticket and was held on the final day (Sunday) This is the large market festival type event that included food and drink tents, merch tents, photo opp tents, a main stage for the free concert, other activity tents and setups; the basketball game for example.)

-additional events held around Cleveland are more exclusive and required a paid ticket (after partys, extra concerts, bar crawls, brunches, 27 club events, FWD nightclub, IVY nightclub, probably Shooters this year, etc)

-schedule last year dropped right before mgk day and misc event tickets all dropped separately and at different times. (Being active on socials the week before mgk day greatly increased chances of scoring tickets to the more limited ticketed events)

-Spot Hero app is a fantastic resource to pre reserve parking for those three days if your hotel is not within walking distance to events. (Most of the events are within walking distance of each other so plan to drive downtown, park and not go back to your car till you’re ready to head back for the day. )

-last year was death hot so be prepared

-27 club line will be around the building ALL weekend pretty much non stop, so plan your events with this in mind.

-Kells will be around all weekend and your chances of seeing him in the wild will be high, please let him be a human and just say hi instead of asking him for something. He’ll be giving all his time to us already this weekend.

-if you are looking to get barricade for the main event Sunday, prepare to arrive extremely early and don’t plan on being able to partake in any other events/tents that festival day.

-Cleveland is an amazing city and stays alive till like 5 AM. We felt safe the entire time.
