I told my mom I wasn't attracted to a guy who liked me and she told me to give him a chance. I said guys don't give girls they're not attracted to a chance so why should I do it? Silence at the dinner table
Jokes aside, I think people should really be more focused on the minor acts of love / care when picking a partner. A partner that won’t make you feel bad / uncomfortable in your humanness; snoring, hair, sickness, fluids, depression, grief. So important when partnering forever.
everyone talks about the male loneliness epidemic but no one talks about the hot successful and smart girls who can’t find suitable partners cus dating in this day and age is equivalent to an involuntary check in at the mental hospital

Confirmed true.
It’s the repeated demonstration that you don’t value your partner or relationship enough to do the little things that all add up to a general feeling in them that you don’t love them, don’t care about them, or don’t respect them.
And you know what? You don’t.
If the little things are too hard for you to follow through on, then you can’t be relied on for the big things. You’re showing over and over that you don’t care if your partner is having a good experience of the relationship, you don’t care that you are frustrating, stressing, or hurting them, and you aren’t trustworthy.
It should not then be surprising that the partner on the receiving end will come to dislike the person who is treating them like they don’t matter and when that point comes, there will be no further chance of reconciliation because now they no longer respect or care about you either aren’t willing to give you another chance. You burned up all your goodwill with them.
You reap what you sow and many people blindly sow the seeds of an inevitable break-up, and ignore every warning sign that their partner gives them along the way.
We searched & searched for a photo of this Paul Skenes/Alex Milazzo moment. Blurry TV screenshots were not going to cut it.
"It’s not 100% in focus bc I was trying to get Jay and they ran across but I think it’s close enough."
