@jakeparlay Hello. I am requesting help with one of your good tutorials on MS Flow and Planner. https://t.co/4ttuit7sm5 If you could, please follow back and contact me if u have time. thank u
@2joephillips hello again. Could you send me a couple example GET request string examples that show how to paginate comicvine API requests? It would be a continuation of this: https://t.co/9pjngfHBGN. Thank u
@2joephillips@2joephillips I am just getting back into playing with coding and have never used git nor GitHub. As someone who values training/tutorials, if you could recommend one I’ll take it
@2joephillips I found your blog on accessing the comicvine API. I made a couple of attempts using python "requests" package but I receive a 403. When I paste into the browser, I do receive a valid XML payload, however.
Do you know if I must put the API key inside quotes?
@2joephillips Hello there. Thanks for hitting me back. You may be pleased to know that I figured out the issue. The response from CV had an embedded message informing me that I sent a response without a “unique user” identifier thing. I added that to my response and got a 200!
@2joephillips Couldn’t have done anything without your great blog post btw - your JSON tip was especially helpful yesterday. Currently working through formatting the nested JSON to get into dataframe>excel for a start
@ClarkFlare hey I’m a friend of AJ’s and a fan of the FF podcast. Have you worked with any comic book datasets in your analytics pursuits? Been toying with a comic vine API myself recently.
