This bird is an angel. She was so sweet, I genuinely didn’t want to leave her.

Angel lives at Ringtail Ranch Lemur Rescue because the person who had her could no longer properly care for her. Her full story is heartbreaking, and I don’t want to burden you with the details. But it’s one I see all too often. Someone got an animal that they were ill-equipped to properly take care of.

It’s my hope that the videos that I post will help people understand something important:

Animals are incredibly difficult to care for safely and responsibly. They aren’t decorations or impulse purchases. They’re intelligent, emotional living beings that can suffer deeply when people underestimate the commitment.

The existence of animals is the greatest gift in the world. They deserve patience, respect, and a life where they’re truly cared for.
