NIPSCO has ample resources to get the job done in Northwest Indiana, but they continue to fail Hoosiers.

NIPSCO is a monopoly with a responsibility to ratepayers. Residents are forced to rely on them for their safety and comfort and they must get the power back on NOW.

I have mobilized the Indiana National Guard and sent teams from Indiana State Police, Department of Natural Resources & Department of Correction to literally clear the way for NIPSCO utility crews.

There is no excuse for these delays.

3 Sisters of Life made their final profession of vows yesterday, promising to live poverty, chastity, obedience, and to protect the sanctity of human life, for the rest of their lives.

There's a moment in the Final Vows Mass that is second to none -- the Sister walks down the aisle with her parents, to present the gifts before the Liturgy of the Eucharist. There's never a dry eye in the house at this point, because it's the ultimate expression of the sacrifice everyone is making for the Lord.

But after significant flight delays and cancellations, travel was just nearly impossible and Sister Eden Marie's mom and dad, down in Louisiana, unfortunately were not there at the Perpetual Profession. Until they were. Until they did make it.

In what can really only be thought of as a little miracle, God sort of "stopped time" to get her parents there, literally arriving right as they were needed to walk her down the aisle.

God stopped the clock. We're telling the story on @SiriusXM @CatholicChannel this morning, and we'd love to hear your "God is outside of time" stories (because we know you have them). 888-322-8465
