Seeing how much the world accepts that it’s impossible to move on after watching CPR really makes me think about how we (medical professionals, especially those who work in Emergency departments) are expected to just move on immediately after a code.
Yes, everyone should learn #CPRandAED. But if we are going to ask people to perform such a brutal task, it’s imperative that we also provide them with the info and resources they need to process it mentally and emotionally. It’s traumatic and life changing.
