ALGEMEEN AANVAARD 📚

Ik probeer dit zo kort mogelijk uit te leggen. Mijn bericht is een soort jeugdjournaal voor volwassenen op X of wereldwijd. Deel het indien u het wenst. #Bladwijzers

Sinds een jaar of 50 of 60 spreekt de hele wereld over Palestijnen. En zij benoemen het zelfs als een volk. Het is ingeburgerd in het nieuws, op YouTube kanalen, podcasts, kranten et cetera en ook bij alle burgers.

U weet niet beter, immers u hoort altijd het woord Palestijnse volk of de Palestijnen. Terwijl u niet weet, dat het eigenlijk gewoon Arabieren zijn. En daar is niets mis mee.

Arabieren die zich in het land Palestina gingen vestigen. Zij kwamen vanuit allerlei nabijgelegen landen, omdat zij de welvaart zagen groeien die de Joden deels hadden opgebouwd vanaf 1880. In die periode was het al eeuwen deel van het Ottomaanse Rijk (de Turken).

De Turken verloren Palestina door zich aan te sluiten bij de Duitsers in de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Zij verloren Palestina aan de Britten. Dus de Britten namen het land over.

Mijn vader werd begin jaren '20 van de vorige eeuw geboren in Tiberias en kreeg dus de Britse nationaliteit. Immers hij werd geboren net in de tijd, dat het land Brits mandaat was geworden en geen Turks (Ottomaanse Rijk) meer was.

Voor andere (bekende Israëliërs), zoals Golda Meïr, Menachem Begin, Moshe Dayan was het identiek. Zij werden geboren in de tijd van het Brits mandaat voor Palestina.

Ik neem even een afslag. De letter P bestaat niet in de Arabische taal. Het was de Romein Hadrianus die het land in het jaar 136 CE (na Chr.) had omgedoopt tot Palestina, na het afslachten van enorm veel Joden en om ze verder te vernederen. Enkele overgebleven Joden bleven 'koppig' achter in het land.

Nu weer terug. Gisterenmiddag 28 oktober 2024 luisterde ik naar Christenen voor Israël - @cvisrael - een uitzending via YouTube. Daar spreekt iedereen over het Palestijnse volk. Wat ik vreemd vind. Want juist Christenen (vanuit de bijbel) en zelfs ongelovigen spraken 100 jaar geleden nimmer over de Palestijnen. Of het Palestijnse volk. Nogmaals het zijn Arabieren.

Ouderen (gelovig of niet), kregen altijd te horen over het Joodse volk (Joden zijn geen ras *). Men sprak niet over het Belgische volk, Nederlandse volk, Italiaanse volk. Enzovoort. Er was alleen het Joodse volk met een geschiedenis van duizenden jaren.

Wat wij dus ingeprent krijgen is dat Arabieren die woonachtig zijn in de Gazastrook of Judea en Samaria (Westbank) Palestijnen zijn. Dat was het mooie van het 35 minuten durend filmpje van Mosab Hassan Yousef, die doodgewoon voor de camera zegt: "Ik ben geboren in Judea en Samaria."
Mosab werd als 'moslim' geboren en bekeerde zich tot het christendom. Zijn boek heet "Son of Hamas", het is zeker de moeite waard om te lezen.

Raak nooit in de war met een stam (tribe), de Filistijnen. Filistijnen zijn uitgestorven en leefden ongeveer zo rond de huidige Gazastrook.
Luister dan ook heel goed als Arabieren spreken over Palestijnen, zij gebruiken de letter P niet (logisch want die bestaat niet in het Arabisch), je hoort ze kwakkelen met "Fillistini" of zoiets. En daarmee bedoelen zij de Palestijnen.

Het ingeburgerde woord Palestijnen is doodnormaal geworden. U weet niet beter en ik neem het niemand kwalijk. En het is ineens ook nog eens een volk! #ThinkTwice

En over 100 jaar? Iedereen spreekt over de Palestijnen als een volk, terwijl het Arabieren zijn, die voor een beter leven hun heil zochten in Israël.
En maak nooit de fout, die Israëliërs of anderen ook maken, dat Israël als staat is opgericht in 1948. Israël is er altijd geweest. Het enige wat je kan zeggen, is dat het opnieuw is opgebouwd.

Video 2 ~ Hoe Israël in amper 70 jaar zoiets heeft kunnen opbouwen. Een video die gemaakt is door een Arabier, met Arabische tekst en muziek. 45 Seconden.

Een vraag die ik geregeld krijg: "Waarom schrijf jij altijd 'palestijnen' tussen aanhalingstekens en met een kleine letter? Indien u het bovenstaande goed heeft gelezen begrijpt u waarom ik dat doe. Dit bericht is echter een uitzondering.

Israel: The only country in history that is smaller than New Jersey yet leads the way in technology and is still accused of ruining the world.

The Palestinians: The only group of people in history that openly and overwhelmingly support terror and are still perceived as peaceful people.

Israel: The only country in history that fought seven armies (Multiple times) who attacked them for no reason whatsoever and are still called the aggressor.

The Palestinians: The only group of people in history that stole the name of a country that was the exact country they are now claiming stole their land. (Palestine was Israel before 1948. There was never an Arab Palestine in history.)

Israel: The only country in history that performs life saving surgery on a person who has and continues to threaten its existence (Israel saved Sinwar’s life. He had a brain tumor. Yes, for real.)

The Palestinians: The only group of people in history that stole billions of dollars of aid to build terror tunnels and to whom the world wants to send more aid.

Israel: The only country in history that has archeological evidence of a nation living there, a nation that is now told that they are not indigenous to the land.

The Palestinians: The only group of people in history that has been caught red handed sharing fake propaganda videos and casualty numbers that are then quoted by otherwise reliable sources.

Israel: The only country in history that is the recipient of unprecedented global hatred and is still believed to control the banks, the media, and the western world.

The Palestinians: The only group of people in history that states clearly in writing what it wants, and is still told, despite its own admission, that all they want is to live in peace.

Israel: The only country in history that would tolerate tens of thousands of missiles from the north and the south, both orchestrated by an evil regime, and not totally obliterate the source, all the while still being called the aggressor.

Listen, I can go on for hours. The reality is that the Israel story is so preposterous, that if I walked into a movie production company with the script, they’d tell me to come back with a more realistic script.

When it comes to Israel and the Jews, all logic, reason, and critical thinking goes out the window.

The good news is, we’ve been down this road before and we know how it ends.

Hint: How many Babylonians do you know? How about Byzantines? Crusaders? Assyrians? Exactly. They’re gone and the Jews are here and stronger than ever.

I grew up on a Council Estate and never once questioned my parents income, it was never a discussion.

We didn’t eat a lot of fast food because it was considered a treat, not a food group.

We ate homemade meals consisting of meat, potatoes and vegetables - (which were not an optional choice). No vegetables, no dessert!!!

We grew up during a time when we mowed lawns, pulled weeds, babysat, helped neighbours with chores to be able to earn our own money.

We by no means were given everything we wanted.

We went outside a lot to play, ride bikes, run with friends, play hide and seek, or went swimming.

We rarely just sat inside.

Bottled water was unheard of.

If we had a coke, it was in a glass bottle and we didn’t break the bottle when finished.

We saved it and cashed it back in at the shops for a sweet.

After school, we came home and did homework and chores, before going outside or having friends over.

We would ride our bikes for hours.

We had to tell our parents where we were going, who we were going with and be home when the street lights came on!

You LEARNED from your parents instead of disrespecting them and treating them as if they knew absolutely nothing.

What they said was LAW and you did not question it and you had better know it!

We watched what we said around our elders because we knew if we DISRESPECTED any grown-up, we would get a real telling off, it wasn’t called abuse, it was called discipline!

We held doors, carried the shopping and gave up our seat for an older person without being asked.

You didn’t hear swear words on the radio in songs or TV.

“Please and Thank you”, were part of our daily vocabulary! 💯

The world we live in now is just so full of people who hate and disrespect others.
