If you’re willing to set aside a little time for it, you NEED to watch/listen to Andi Jackson on the Volleyball Mentor podcast. An incredible look at Andi’s journey from just beginning volleyball all the way to leading into her senior season🫶❤️ https://t.co/ZhzshGyPD2
@elonmusk@AmericanAir Can't come soon enough. Massive groans boarding Monday night's HNL→PHX flight: 'Sorry, the internet is inoperable on this flight. Please download your media before boarding.' Same announcement, same groans at the gate for that plane's next leg, PHX→PHL.
@ScottPresler Have fun! Camelback is a good one. You can also consider Black Mountain Trail in Cave Creek or White Tank Mountain Regional Park out in the Surprise area.
For most of human history, women did not experience children as some rare interruptions to adult life. Babies were everywhere, in arms, on hips, asleep in slings, playing under tables while bread was kneaded and laundry was folded. A young girl did not grow up in a world separated from motherhood.
So how can women want babies when they rarely see babies?
A baby changes the atmosphere of a room, people smile more, they speak softer, they are gentler, there is more joy.
Perhaps the desire for children has not disappeared nearly as much as we think. Perhaps many women have simply been separated from the very thing that used to awaken that desire in their hearts.
My heart breaks for Rondale Moore and his family. I hate suicide because I know it’s more than a mental battle. It’s a spiritual battle and there is an evil in this world that seeks to steal the future of men and women of all ages. Rondale would not choose to have those negative thoughts in his head. They showed up and sadly he believed the lies they spoke to him. Remember you are not the thoughts you think. You are the thoughts you believe. I say this to anyone struggling with depression, discouragement and doubt. Don’t believe these lies. You’re not broken. There’s nothing wrong with you. You don’t need to be fixed. You are just in battle between good and evil and your mind is the battleground. You need to learn the truth to win the battle. Every hero in every epic movie must battle a villain and so will you in this life. Your future is filled with hope. You are loved. Faith gives you strength.

Coach junior college if you want to grow fast.
You’ll learn how to run a program, recruit, oversight academics, develop players, and network. You may even drive the bus!
Spend a few years in JUCO or your whole career. It is life-changing for you and for student-athletes.
What makes JUCO life-changing?
1. You get to coach many kids who need athletics to change their lives. This isn’t the country club level of college sports. JUCO coaches can change the trajectory of families and help first generation college students on their path to life success.
2. You will learn to be resourceful. Budgets are tight. As a coach you’ll figure out how to do more with less and find creative solutions. If you want something extra, you’ll fundraise to get new uniforms or to provide better meals on the road for student-athletes and staff.
3. If you’re on a JUCO coaching staff you get to coach. You’ll have a hand in nearly everything. This is an amazing responsibility. At higher levels there are many coaches on staff who specialize. In JUCO, be ready to be thrown in the fire, do everything, and learn/grow as you go.
4. Recruit both ways. In junior college you are always recruiting players into the program and helping players get recruited out of the program. This allows for twice the networking. You are interacting with coaches heavily on both sides which can change the trajectory of your career.
5. Player management, team and chemistry building: If you can take a roster of 12-15 players, all who think they need to score 20+ PPG to get signed at the next level, and get them to play together and for each other, then you are on your way to being an incredible coach. JUCO coaches do this every season.
Exciting things are happening at @BHCCampus. Last night the Board of Trustees were given a tour of the renovations to Building 3. Starting this fall, our students will have access to a world class building that includes new science, exercise, and athletic facilities. #bhcproud
