The most interesting thing for me when it comes to college athletes is that they are not given so much freedom. The contract they sign is always restraining them and this time is being able to transfer to another instatution.

College athletes should be able to speak up about any injury that have received during the times that they play. College athletic organizations should have a safe environment where athletes do not have to fear of losing their scholarship because of an injury. #ucr150

@AgredanoJohana @annaaacha That’s a good question to ask because we have only seen it as women are not grateful for what they are getting, but we should see it as they are fighting for all the hard work they put into the sport to have the same options as men.

@elizabe03477715 It’s interesting to see that the checklist sometimes does not get checked off for many women that are part of the NCAA, one things that stood out was how they are supposed to get money when they travel for essentials that they might need. @annaaacha #ucr150

Student athletes have a significant gap when it comes to having equality. Both genders have the to work for the sport that is important to them but women have to work a little harder while men get all the fundings they need without doing so much. @annaaacha #ucr150

It is very important to note that race is a factor that many schools look into when they give their student athletes a contract. The factor makes athletes very stressed about what can happen the next year because nothing is guaranteed. #ucr150 @annaaacha

@reehirmiz @annaaacha I agree with you that it is very interesting how even race is part of the contract that many students athletes have to sign in order to play for the team for maybe a year if they get that chance or maybe all the years that they are in college.

College athletes are alway been shut down from what the issues that they go through with NCAA. They have made their athletes work so many hours but yet do not have a decent salary. All the money that each sport makes it goes straight to the colleges. #ucr150 @annnaacha

Athletes are sacrificing their lives to have the future they always dreamed of. They get treated as students more than the athletes that they are. The pov that the they have needs to be told, for it can be shown how they are actually being treated in the NCAA. #ucr150 @annaaacha
