The only Pakistani captain who has captained Pakistan cricket team in more than 50 matches (Tests+ODIs+T20s) and has lost more matches than he won is Shahid Afridi and he was the one telling us about faults in Babar’s captaincy. In 83 matches under his captaincy Pakistan won 38 and lost 43.This phenomenon is not limited to cricket.Perhaps we are the only country where worst performers in a particular field come on TV and tell us how to excel in that field. But is it his fault Shaheen bowled at 130KPH with the new ball all tournament?

Is it his fault Haris Rauf bowled 145KPH half volleys all tournament?

Is it his fault Imam can’t play the short ball?

Is it his fault Shadab forgot how to spin the ball or land it on one spot?

Is it his fault Iftikhar can’t play spin?

Yes Babar has faults in his captaincy, but it also obvious that his team-mates let him down at the World Cup.
