KZN police have confirmed the seizure of police minister Senzo Mchunu’s devices.

This is in relation to cases of defeating the ends of justice and fraud registered last year. 

The search and seizure order was granted by the Johannesburg High Court to members of the provincial Serious and Violent Crimes unit. 

The matters are currently under investigation.

BREAKING : Suspended deputy national commissioner Shadrack Sibiya is in the dock. The state and defence are not opposed to the bail application being broadcast with restrictions but that won’t proceed today because of time constraints. The bail hearing will now be heard on the 29th of September. Sibiya will be detained at Kgosi Mampuru prison. No bail granted.
