What do you get when you cross John Healey with Count von Count from Sesame Street ...... "Greetings! I am The Count John Healey. They call me the Count because I love to count ... things"
@MiscreaRichard You're right and I'm finding it hilarious to watch ! So much nastiness around. Time would be better spent on knuckling down and working!
@ElaineW27472898@BBCBreakfast 100k is not as much as you think, particularly when a large part of that is 40% tax. Those on 100k already pay a huge proportion, compare is to 4 people each earning 24k each. Look ot up. Its revolting
@goran71148132@kelvmackenzie If I earnt the money through graft, I ain't giving it away. Like I said, people nod to havenskun in the game and not sit with hands open waiting.
@goran71148132@kelvmackenzie Re-distribute to who exactly? Surely earning your own money and having skin in the game facilitates personal responsibility and accountability. Rather than sheer entitlement to someone's else's hard graft. Giving away money isnt the answer
@Stu6oh1@mattragudo@BoomerDivvies No, they really didn't eat out. Budgeted food and a lot of meal planning/ prepping. No holidays until aged 11, then that was UK in a caravan. Never went abroad. Never had designer wear. Bought school shoes and bags from the market. Made clothes. Christmas gifts upcycled.
