Reading this made me realise that Utopian and Dystopian worlds aren't far anymore, both will coexist and are astonishing and invoking fear at the same time
why are designers learning to code while developers aren't learning to design?
the cleanest way i can put it:
a figma file is a snapshot. code is what that snapshot becomes once real data, real interaction, real states, real edge cases, and real performance constraints show up. all of that was always design. it just got handed off because no design tool could reach it.
so what looks like designers becoming developers might just be designers picking up parts of their own work the tools never let them reach.
so its just designers doing their job more completely .
Our best AI engineer doesn't need to know ML
The Product AI Engineer role we built last year needs taste, communication, tool fluency, speed
He'd have failed a classical ML interview.
Twelve months in, none of that has mattered
What does AI talent look like in your orgs now?
If your design process still ends at figma, 2026 is going to hurt ⚠️
made designengineer(.)pro for designers ready to cross over before it’s too late
designing in cursor, shipping in code, AI in the loop, ditching the handoff. everything i wish someone handed me when i made the jump into it

I’m thrilled to announce we’ve raised $44M to build a new home for product design. Meet @noondesign.
No workflow is more broken and fragmented in 2026 than the product designers’. The very same people who care most about building software don’t have software purpose built for them. @kushagrasinha7 and I have lived this problem first hand as designers ourselves.
That’s why we built Noon. The first product design tool that works entirely on your product code, so you can design not only how a product looks, but also how it works. With AI at its core that works in seconds, not minutes.
For the first time, you can create, iterate, build, test and ship. All in one canvas. No translations or roundtrips to the codebase and back.
Comment “Get Noon” and we’ll get you on the list for early access.
Introducing Kombai, the first AI agent built for frontend development.
Kombai vastly outperforms SOTA models + generic agents in real-world benchmarks.
Watch it add a complex new feature to an OSS codebase with 500K+ lines of code.

Such an exciting day.
One of the hardest decisions we took was not writing into your codebase.
We'd have to change habitutated consumer beaviour of generated code going straight into your codebase
So glad that so many of you love the ability to visualise generated code in a sandbox and the risk minimzation that comes with it.
@Kombaico is an opinionated agent.
One of the decisions we argued the most on - not writing in local during codegen.
But early users seem to be loving this.
Excited to see how that holds up as we face the real world!
Thank you @IRCTCofficial for the overall experience in the Vande Bharat train 22774 from Delhi to Amb Andaura has been simply marvelous. The staff was helpful and kind, food was warm. Traveled in C2/6.
@zomatocare@zomato isn't it a fraud if you deliver item X when I ordered for Y.
I was trying your new grocery feature and I was sent a random 50rs light when I ordered a mesh light worth 900rs. Support says we delivered, doesn't matter what! Returnable item cant be returned too!
@shreyas Do you think the involvement of "core product group", when they bring relevant experience, could have a positive impact in shaping strategy as well. While decision making could be autocratic but ideas from the group could benefit, right?
@airtelindia I just recharged my airtel broadband for 1 year as it was relatively cheaper than the monthly plan. But when I recharged, 1 year plan only recharged for 10 months i.e. 306 days. This is fraud. I was shown that I am saving money but I ended up paying higher.
When we started Adaface 3.5 years ago, my co-founder and I were both introverted software engineers with ~2 years of experience writing code.
Now we have paying customers in 75+ countries.
Here's what worked for us. 👇
