This financial independence has allowed us to report without fear or favor. Our funding comes from hundreds of small donations, ensuring we remain free from the pressures that force media organizations to self-censor or become government mouthpieces.

However, the financial year 2024-25 has started with significant challenges. Donations have continued to fall short, making it difficult for us to sustain our operations. We have had to freeze hiring and remain unable to expand our team. To continue our work effectively, we need at least ₹15 lakh per month, but we have frequently struggled to meet this target.

We appeal to our readers to step forward and support us before the financial year ends. Your contributions help sustain independent journalism that holds power to account.
