Always be careful not to learn the wrong lessons from both failures and successes. Both are teachers, but one can miss the entirety of what they endeavor to teach in those specific life phases.
Federal Government Gets Twice As Much As 36 States Combined — Aworawo
When Buhari was in government, the average monthly revenue was about ₦750 billion, while NNPC remitted nothing because its revenue went into subsidy payments. After subsidy was removed, monthly revenue rose to trillions of naira. The Federal Government receives 52% of the revenue, states get 26%, and the remainder goes to local governments. That is why I say Tinubu does not decide how to share the money; the allocations are predetermined, with the Federal Government receiving twice as much as the 36 states combined.

David Umahi owes this lady an apology.
Remember when she asked him questions about the Costal road EIA report project and Umahi tired to make her sound silly and wave off the question.
@FinPlanKaluAja1 We’ll keep having all these issues because what we do in Nigeria is copy things and aesthetics without giving actual thought to our climate, environmental & modern needs. Our architecture should be evolving to actively meet our needs but we’ll rather copy “cool” things instead.
When a govt institution uses AI-generated imagery in official communications without clear disclosure, safeguards or protections against impersonation, it sets a dangerous precedent.
It is unclear who is speaking, where the information comes from, or the context in which the video was produced.
What prevents others from using the same technology to fabricate official statements, impersonate public officials and spread disinformation?
The Federal Ministry of Finance @FinMinNigeria should set the standard for authenticity, transparency, and public trust, not undermine it. This is concerning.

Hi @Shalom_HeyEliy, I'm a designer and a big fan of Lagos Life
I noticed a gap: no page shows the game before you sign up, or shows brands how the ads work
So I designed and built one. Unofficial, and it's yours

Okay.
The only reason they’re playing Benin is because those ones greatly respect Messi, and have no self-respect.
They accepted Argentina’s ridiculous offer.
They boarded economy flight to Buenos Aires. They were given shoddy hotels in abject conditions.
Rohr said they didn’t get Messi shirts or even a photo. He said he got Messi’s 2018 shirt and gave it to Scaloni to sign it for him and that was all they got.
They didn’t even allow them use the tunnel.
They did the same to Burkina Faso. Most of their senior players rejected boarding an economy flight to Argentina. That was how they deployed most of their U-23s and got thrashed 7-0.
It’s not a win for African football. African football existed before Messi. There’s no direct contribution that game even has on Beninoise football other than memorabilia if they got that.
It’s this same mentality that caused Ali Bongo, former Gabon President to drive Messi by himself after they paid him to visit the country.
We can’t always be unserious.
I’m extremely disappointed in us as Nigerian youths. Extremely.
I woke up this morning to get ready for work without electricity and without water. The last time we had power in my area was Saturday morning. This is Abule Ijesha, Lagos.
I work a 9–5. I earn a substantial amount every month, and yet I’m still dealing with something as basic as the lack of electricity and water.
And meanwhile, young people on Twitter are still allowing tribal sentiments and religious affiliations to divide us in 2026.
Do you people not understand how limited you are compared to young people in developed countries? Do you not understand that if anything happens right now, the politicians who are the most privileged among us have the means to leave this country while the rest of us remain here to deal with the consequences?
Do you genuinely think the elites care about the tribal and religious divisions they use to keep us fighting each other?
Your Commissioner of Environment and Water Resources in Lagos can be online flaunting a Patek Philippe while young people are struggling with basic infrastructure. And this is just a Commissioner.
They know exactly what they’re doing. They know that as long as we’re distracted by tribe, religion, sex, politics and whatever other silly division they can exploit, we won’t look up and ask the people actually responsible for our living conditions the difficult questions.
This is disgusting.
And honestly, we should be ashamed of ourselves.
Not because we are powerless, but because we have failed woefully to recognize where our collective interests lie.
We keep fighting each other while the people benefiting from this dysfunction continue to live above the consequences of it.
We need to do better.
We have Love Island. We have Survivor. We have The Bachelor.
Now please make a show where you put a billionaire CEO in a regular apartment, give them their lowest-paid employee’s paycheck, and tell them it has to last 30 days.
I’d watch every episode.
