🇨🇦🥉Add another bronze for Canada!
The Canadian cycling party continues at Paris 2024 as Alexandre Hayward takes bronze in the men's 3,000m individual pursuit C3.
Four medals at the Paralympics now for Canada, three on the velodrome track.
Yea but can’t show any USports or CCAA athletics. @TSN_Sports needs to stop calling themselves ‘Canada Sports Network’. They want nothing to do with Canadian sports.
TSN (Canada) has its own Canadian-based studio show (Kate Beirness, Kia Nurse, and Tamika Nurse) prior to the Iowa-LSU and USC-UConn doubleheader. They have a reporter (Claire Hanna) onsite in Albany doing live reports.
This is Canada and not the U.S.
Congrats Venna & Michelle on joining the Fellowship! Excited to learn about your journey this coming year and hope to meet you at some point along the way. @DalhousieU@ontariotech_u@trentulee
The @USPORTSca WBB wildcard is a classic example of collusion!!!
@RedsWBB and @UCDinos were tied 2-2. The tie-breaker is a decimal. Decimals can continue beyond 3 places.
You have a tie-breaker in place. It's simple, go to the next decimal. You don't get to change the rules!!!
This exactly.
When you change the written tiebreaker rule within your own policy documents to accommodate a certain team I think the very least some sort of public explanation would follow?
I think players, parent, fans, etc deserve that.

A lot of chatter around the @USPORTSca WBB wildcard. The system is currently flawed because:
1. USport should have had a policy/process in place to break the tie breaker. Sport bodies need to be prepared for these situations – not reactive. It shouldn't have come to this.
@mhazz1@USPORTSca What about the argument that one conference is stronger than another…ie. losing in the Big 10 quarterfinals vs losing in the Atlantic 10 semifinals? Just a thought…
@mhazz1@JaySmithBall@emcaleenan Regarding the MBB at Large Team, who deserves the spot more the Ottawa U? They were in the 2 or 3 in the USports ranking most of the season.
This is garbage @USPORTSca No team that loses in its conference 1/4 finals should EVER be selected as the at-large berth. And that includes the Ottawa MBB too. The system is broken
This is garbage. No team that loses in its conference 1/4 finals should EVER be selected as the at-large berth. And that includes the Ottawa MBB too. The system is broken
Like I Said Will - ‘And this is garbage. No team that loses in its conference 1/4 finals should EVER be selected as the at-large berth. And that includes the Ottawa MBB too. The system is broken’
If true got to feel for @RedsWBB moving forward I think you’ve got to make it to at least semis of your conference to get a wildcard. It’s looking like both M & F wildcards will have been eliminated in QF. Both great teams but playoffs need to count for something.
@JaySmithBall@emcaleenan And this is garbage. No team that loses in its conference 1/4 finals should EVER be selected as the at-large berth. And that includes the Ottawa MBB too. The system is broken
Spotted one of @TD_Insurance 2023-24 Fellows in Advancement last night @LakeheadAlumni Awards ceremony in #Orillia#LakeheadCelebrates
Julia Carvello & her Advisor Jacqueline Kent were great hosts & are growing the @LakeheadAlumni community 👍
Pretty sure @USPORTSca has been around longer than 5 years; yet Canada’s sport leader - @TSN_Sports - can’t bring itself to cover this national league. So sad 😟
no surprise @BenSteiner00@USPORTSca CIS, CIAU has done such a bad job marketing and connecting to the Canadian public its no wonder people don't know what it is!
U SPORTS MHKY: "Massive on-ice brawl erupts at CIAU hockey championship"
This video was posted this weekend.
CIAU was rebranded to CIS 22 years ago, and it turned into U SPORTS in 2016.
