The price of RON97 and unsubsidised RON95 petrol will increase by 60 sen nationwide from tomorrow, while diesel in West Malaysia will go up by 80 sen.
This marks the third consecutive week of fuel price adjustments since March 11, reflecting continued global oil price increases amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia.
So here’s the gist
The whole thing is a messy fanwar between some Korean netizens and Southeast Asians and it escalated FAST.
It started in Malaysia at a K-pop concert. Korean fans brought big professional cameras that broke venue rules. Malaysian staff enforced the rules and some Korean fans reacted badly then racist comments toward Malaysians/SEA people started flying.
Some Korean netizens then told SEA fans to stop listening to K-pop and stick to their “own music,” basically implying SEA doesn’t belong in K-pop spaces.
Indonesians clapped back by promoting No Na an upcoming Indonesian girl group saying “we have our own pop now, we don’t need K-pop validation.”
Korean netizens mocked No Na’s music videos, calling them cheap, poor, and uncultured.
Filipinos and Thais jumped in to defend No Na and SEA pop in general, turning it into a full “SEA solidarity” moment.
Koreans then accused SEA people of being insecure and “siding with colonizers”.
Vietnamese users responded by bringing up Korea’s war crimes in Vietnam, calling out the hypocrisy and superiority complex.
Some Korean netizens even dragged India and Pakistan into it with racist stereotypes, making things worse.

Hi @fmtoday
Lets callout the racist remarks from one of yours shall we?
The prejudice from one of yours who blatantly claims that the chinese are oppressed like the Palestinians are so uncalled for
Since merdeka, many chinese had hold important positions in the country - ministers, CMs. Heck tun HS Lee, a chinese man together with Tuanku Abdul Rahman went to London to seek independence of malaya from the britons.
Today, 68 years after merdeka, we have chinese tycoons - vincent tan, robert kuok, who amassed riches from this country and you have the galls to call that the chinese are oppressed like the palestinians? We have kampung cina, we have chinese school, you are free to form associations, political party, but you claim what? Oppressed?
Your so called “journalist” have the audacity to claim the malay oppressed you but have you seen the treatment of chinese towards the indians?
Lets call your racism here. Who’s more likely to give side eyes to immigrants? The indonesians, the banglas? Who would rather exploit these people than be kind to them?
Lets call your racism in workplace. Purposely hiring chinese workers with the so called “mandarin speaker only” caveat when your business dont even deal with mainland china
How many chinese in the army? Police? Why not many? Cause you people dont want to join them. Yet you claim that its predominantly malays
Lets callout your racism first before we talk about equality
