@tomfriedman Democracy is NOT a fight. Democracy is the WORk we do together. Everyone on both sides thinks they’re fighting for democracy. Not enough people are doing the work. Fighting is easy. Together is hard. If only we would work as hard as we fight!
@atrupar why is it that if putin's army enters a neighboring country illegally, they get to stay, even after raping and killing... while the people entering the US illegally have to go home, even if they're working, paying taxes and otherwise minding their own business?
@evanwch do the math. $20 million is a rounding error in a $1 billion budget. you've simply failed to understand the scale of the game. meanwhile, you're OK with trump's many bankruptcies. so financial skills aren't really the issue, are they? --paid for by citizens for math literacy
@LizAnnSonders The red start pt is meaningless. Only orange remembers that day. We remember tops + bottoms. I don't see different slopes. I see different timing. Blue line loses confidence first, except in the crisis moment. Both up from their *experienced* bottoms. Both down from LT tops.
@EpsilonTheory Thanks for sharing the work you've done here! Would like to see you take on YayScale! ...but that puts USA(tm) in the crosshairs, no? ...Is Diversity what we call Uniqueness, when viewed from Top at Scale & Humanity what emerges in the Field and Faces?
@tottinge ...it's not as clear. in ABQ they had piles of studies and memos on different initiatives, lots of career ED expert insights, but that had to mesh with the mayor's campaign soundbites and slogans... they made all of that visible and coherent in a canvas... where many small...
@tottinge charter/vision/mission/def of value is s'thing team(s) probably need. there's a canvas panel for that, including updating over time. and for working agreements, team rules is another... there's a panel for those.
@tottinge the other translational piece is it's not always a software product. we used the canvas for doing economic development in ABQ. city govt dept. in non-sw domains, the canvas can be more visible than the "product" so it's like your dev platform in software.
@tottinge when i used the ES canvas with single software teams, the scrum backlog went in the ctr and all the other boxes were for various other kinds of work (much of which was raised in daily scrums and retros). the canvas also serves as an adaptable language to scale/connect many teams
@tottinge everything is everything. mike called it a "value list" instead of "backlog." everything we need to do to add value, yes, in perpetuity. same as any other backlog. but with all the other dimensions of the team(s)' work that could be needed, including obstacles to remove
