Fascinating to spend time with Charlie Austin, discussing his ADHD diagnosis at length for the first time
He’s great on players being denied access to medication, football’s neurodiversity crisis and how his diagnosis has made him a better person 🧠⚽️

The hysteria about being blocked is always really telling I think. When I see someone crying about being blocked my first thought is to think they probably deserved it.
What gets me is what do they expect as the alternative? for you to spend anything from the next hour to the rest of your life arguing the toss with them over a load of cobblers?
I get blocked all the time. Great. One less person to deal with. Do your thing. Be happy.
If you take the time to follow, I will follow back if I see it - and then you are allowed to disagree, and if I have time and you are nice I might even have an adult conversation engaging with your differing view.
Someone who pops up out of nowhere is to me no different than someone who leans over in a pub and starts in on a chat you are having with your mates. And that is OK too but if you are going to be a Big Buttinski you'd best be funny or clever, ideally both if you are going to pull it off.
Look at it like this - a group are chatting by the bar and you walk over and go "no, that's wrong. And you are probably an awful person" will just end up with you getting a slap.
It's just the same on here.
It is not a free-for-all. 'Free speech' doesn't mean 'I get to say what I like at all times' - it means a zone in which there is a mutual agreement for reasoned discourse. MUTUAL agreement.
And you know, to rinse the analogy to death, on top of all that it's my pub and it's my rules. And the same goes for your pub too.

TIME PLEASE LADIES UN GENNULMUN.
Another #ibiza2024 club was closed by police citing noise pollution last night. Underground in San Rafael which has been trading for three decades now faces an uncertain future 😕
