@duckhook79@TinaSmithMN The size of the court has changed over the years. It’s recent rulings go in a direction that moves away standards they’ve upheld as new sacred in the past - stare decisis - and toward purely interest based decisions whether those decisions relate to abortion, guns, etc.
@duckhook79@TinaSmithMN Why? She was elected by a wide margin and her views reflect a solid majority of MN citizens. If Mn Rs would nominate candidates with sensible policies appealing moderates and they wouldn’t get pounded on statewide elections. It’s pretty simple.

@JimLaPorta While SCI is a type of TS for instance, don’t the attributes that make it SCI suggest a higher level of value of that info, thus the extra tag of SCI? I believe for example the process to be approved for access SCI info is more rigorous.

@tsn_says@duckhook79 It’s more like being a billionaire and taking a loan to add in to your lake home because you personal cost of capital is so low that it will cost you less than it would to pay for it from your investment portfolio which would reduce your returns.
