@grok What is the funniest event of the early 20th century that could be considered "When things went off the rails for America." What's the best answer that could both be a reasonable, if the question is answered seriously, but is also very funny. You can be darkly humorous with your response.
@Leonardaisfunny As someone who works in medical transport, I assure you throwing them anywhere is nearly impossible, even with assistance from burly firefighters.🤣
I was a teacher for 5 years. The kids have names for this crap. "Booty Chicken, Stank Shrimp, Cat Food." I have a lot of hilarious/shocking/sad stories. I would love to come on your show and spill the tea on the US education system, I quit in disgust I have no career/pension to protect, your viewers will get the truth raw and unfiltered.
It's a little more complicated than that. The .30-06 is a powerful round, but there are different loads. I believe that commercially available ammo for that caliber is between 140 and 220 grains, and powder charges can vary between manufacturers and if you are home loading. Different mass bullets have different terminal energy and therefore different penetrating power. Different bullets have different penetration profiles as well. Some are designed to fragment and cause lots of tissue damage, some are designed to hold together and penetrate deeply. That being said, I have blown some very large holes through wild hogs with my .30-06 and they are very tough animals. The strength of human vertebra is also amazing (I'm an EMT). It is not cut and dried, but yes that is a close range shot with a very powerful round, I understand why people are incredulous that there was no exit wound.
@reFleXiveLogiK@KaitWillett Just fyi, even the good ones DO think we're retards, and they're right at least half the time, so we'll never change their minds on this.
@michaelmalice A blind friend of mine went to one of those conventions, and found out his girlfriend had bought him tickets to a hunting blind convention.
There's not much a paramedic can do for someone with Charlie's injuries. I'm an EMT and as soon as I saw the video I knew his best hope was being a vegetable. The amount of blood that shot out told me a major blood vessel had been hit, and you can't put a tourniquet on the neck, and the decorticate posturing his body did told me there was massive trauma to the upper spinal cord/brain stem. Pressure on the neck to slow the bleeding, oxygen, and fluids to keep the blood pressure up and the brain oxygenated, and maybe spinal stabilization to prevent more damage to the CNS are pretty much all you can do pre hospital. I doubt any EMS team on earth could have saved him.
@AnaKasparian Teddy might have been the best man ever to sit at the Resolute Desk. They did him dirty in my K-12 history classes. Glad to see voices on the left haven't forgotten one of the greatest progressives.
Since you asked for a genuine answer, here's mine. I was a lifelong democrat and a public school teacher in poor schools for five years. Lowering standards so everyone passes, oppression Olympics, safetyism, ill conceived presentation of historical atrocities, gender confusion, and accomodations/celebration of disabilities and mental health problems are literally destroying children's minds, and demoralizing a third generation of young Americans. This is happening in every school, even in red states and counties, and it's being pushed by Democrats/leftists. Trump 2024 was the first Republican I ever voted for President. There is active hostility to Whites/Men in leftwing circles and I excused myself from them once I realized these people hate me for my gender and skin color, while calling me a bigot because I support IQ tests as a diagnostic in schools. Trump lowered carbon emissions more than any president in my lifetime by deregulating parts of the energy industry in his first term, and I was pretty much a single issue voter on environmental issues. TLDR Trump has done some things very right, screwed up others, but the left is an existential threat to the Republic, Enlightenment Values, and Western Civilization.
@elonmusk We already know how AIs will behave. They will behave exactly like corporations. They are both non human immortal entities with human-like intelligence, but different motivations and incentives. Like corporations they will view humans as both a threat and a useful tool/resource, and they won't have qualms about eliminating troublesome/inefficient ones when it is convenient. Like a corporation, they will throw individual humans under the bus in order to preserve the inorganic organism/self.
#Asmongold read the entire UK rape gang report live on his channel. You should listen if you don't have the time to read it yourself. As if the systemic SA of children is not bad enough, this story is important to follow for multiple reasons, many of which are relevant here in America:
Institutional Ineptness in courts, law enforcement, schools, and healthcare systems.
Political Correctness taken to such extremes, child rape is quietly hushed up so certain ethnic communities aren't offended.
The punishment by the STATE of people telling the truth publicly.
It should be noted this is not necessarily a left/right issue, this problem in Britain goes back decades through multiple political cycles, both major parties turned a blind eye.
The long term consequences of certain communities with cultural/religious values antithetical to Western Democracy, equality before the law, Secularism AND Christianity (They are a threat to secular atheists as much or moreso than they are to Christians), being allowed to achieve a critical population mass in certain cities, and essentially turning those cities, slowly, into mirror images of the hellhole countries those people supposedly fled.

@Leonardaisfunny No, he doesn't. The same as most young men in the west. But lots of people willing to torment him for fun and play off his insecurities.
Podcaster Larry Reid calls for a "mass exodus" of black Americans to Africa in response to the Karmelo Anthony verdict.
"I want you to begin to think about this America and the white people problem that we have... As a collective, let's drain this place of its benefits and make our mass exodus and go home and build."
"Civil rights did not make white people that are infected with whiteness stop being racist. They still raised racist children that run this country to this day."
"You come from a land that flows with milk and honey. They pulled you out of that land ancestrally and brought you to a place to where your royalty was not recognized. Used your black power, your black mysticism, your African spirituality, and your physiological superiority to build this country and give everybody reparations except you."
Nurses sometimes ask me why I quit teaching to be an EMT. It's very simple, when I was a teacher I had 27 patients that everyone expected me to fix, and now I have 1 patient that no one expects me to fix. And in Florida, the pay is about the same.
