@Sentdex @benjamintua @shaunmmaguire@SpaceX It’s literally the 3rd headline article on CNN, was the top news item on BBC (now just below the top news item) and is the 3rd article on Bloomberg. Either way….the MSM have most definitely covered it positively. Unlike people on Twitter, they can separate politics from science
@starseedkn@TrevorL415 You realise a video like that would be about 24hrs long? And currently there are very few missions to space which would go far enough away to get the whole earth in view. 99% of all launches go into orbit which would result in a view like this
@starseedkn@TrevorL415 The video literally shows an unedited view of a space ship going to space. But let’s be honest. Even if someone took you on an actual rocket into space showed you the earth from the window you’d still claim it was fake…
@starseedkn@TrevorL415 To get the entire earth in one view, you would need to leave earths orbit which rarely happens for most space flight. We do however have plenty of unedited footage of the space shuttle entering orbit though like this https://t.co/wAPWjZMCYF
@skizdidlyidler@bluemontauk I mean. First of all mechanism in which an airbag works couldn’t be more different to a helmet. Secondly, you’re unlikely to get facial bruises from an airbag, however you are likely to get burns to your wrists. But ok. You do you
@bluemontauk I launched myself off my mountain bike in March, broke two ribs, had the same bruise as he’s got and smashed my helmet. Am I also part of ‘the conspiracy’?
@British_Airways@HeathrowAirport Me and my relatives seem to be having bad experiences flying in and out of Heathrow with BA. I get that infrastructure is also an issue, but why do other airlines seem to manage better? I want to give you guys a chance but it’s getting to the point I won’t choose to fly BA!
@British_Airways@HeathrowAirport when my flight BA473 is already 2hrs delayed leaving Barcelona, how is it acceptable to park the plane at a remote stand, and then take over an hour to get a bus to the plane? We’re still sat here 45mins after landing being told another 20mins!
@British_Airways@HeathrowAirport It took an hour in the end, and to top it off, our bags were mistakenly put on the domestic carrousel rather than the correct one for our flight. This resulted in a wait of a further 90mins. In total today we spent 5hrs on the plane and 1.5 in the baggage hall.
@teamlhdenmark_@pitlimiteron@RBR_Daily McLaren Mercedes was probably THE strongest ‘brand’ in F1 for the best part of 15 years second only to Ferrari. The partnership was so strong that Mercedes got McLaren to develop their SLR supercar and branded it ‘McLaren Mercedes’. The McLaren’s were THE works Mercedes team.
@teamlhdenmark_@pitlimiteron@RBR_Daily Before Merc? You realise McLaren - Mercedes existed before we had a single manufacturer safety car? 1996 was the first time a Merc was used consistently to pace the field, a year after Mercedes had entered F1 as an engine constructor…
@krwill101@TheSmokingTire@sensarpensar I mean literally every production car has this. Have you even bothered to have a look behind your front fenders or door skins?
@simonharris_mbd I’m remember back in the old days, before everyone caught woke, you could have a lovely Christmas advert where some naked young ladies beat up an immigrant whilst setting fire to some health and safety gear. Can’t believe it’s come to this sanitised woke rubbish
@ExtremistNath @BMLMediaIre You mean the video that shows the floor collapsing from the level above rather than an explosion? I didn’t need my degree in engineering to see that. Just my eyes. Do you have them?
@ExtremistNath @stevebrownett You realise there are other things on cars that are flammable right? Like brakes, plastic parts, bumpers, heat shields? Once there’s a decent enough flame around, diesel is pretty good at continuing to burn which is exactly why it’s used for heating applications.
