@JameyBaskow Here's a simple improvement: watch the Phantoms, they all attack the center the ice, have men in front of goal, and get pucks on net! Alex Bump has 5 in his last 4, Knubke and Luchanko scored last night and played a great game. Make a bold move already!!!
@JameyBaskow Few quick things I would do to fix this team:
1) Line combos (next post)
2) Trade Tippett & York: have to acquire 2 pieces(Net front presence, shot from the point)
3) Stop the passive play along the walls and through the neutral zone. Team needs to attack!
@JameyBaskow Lines (as if now assuming no trades):
Foerster-Zegras-Michkov
Bump-Dvorak-TK
Tippett-Barkey-Martone
Cates-Acciari-Coots
If Barkey gets hurt move Coots up drop in Grebenkin
@TheAnfieldTalk 3/10 its not just the lack of signings, but how we conducted ourselves. Last second options, HG spots a concerns, no planning for outgoings, etc. It was really poor and not well planned at all.
@JimIkeHW The thing with Jett is, he is a damn good hockey player, who has not found his offensive game. There is nothing to to lead me to believe that he magically becomes a big time point producer. I hope he proves me wrong!
@IfBayless@jasonmyrt I think its a slight overpay for sure, but not that absurd with the rising cap. Its REALLY tough to find a 1C which mean Ana will most likely match. In terms of another player, all eyes will be on McDavid who EJ Hradek reported is interested in PHI and Detroit
@IfBayless@jasonmyrt Im not Jason, but the Flyers would be getting a 1st line center who is 21 years old. Im not sure id say immediate contender, but it gets them to that next tier. Really close to the top if Michkov bounces back.
@krikorkap@jasonmyrt 95% sure they match, but even with their cap space..Cutter Gauthier, Beckett Senneke, Pavel Mintyukov all need to be signed soon + their defense is not in great shape either
