Failure + perseverance = SUCCESS. You have never achieved anything great that you didn’t fail at first. The reason you can do it now is because you didn’t give up. You do it over & over until it’s right. Your perseverance, grit & belief is directly proportional to your success!

Coaches: Answer these 4
1) Why do I coach?
2) Why do I coach the way I do?
3) What does it feel like to be coached by me?
4) How do I define success?

Players: Enjoy your HS playing days. There’s nothing like playing in front of a crowd of your community members, friends & family & playing alongside classmates. The sense of community & school pride is unbeatable. Relish it; rejoice in it; respect it. It’s over before you know.

Coaching is a calling with many related sacrifices. Over 30 yrs as a coach, the demands on my time have grown exponentially. If you have the opportunity, thank a current or past coach & let them know the difference they made. Please do it today. Encouragement is a 2 way street.
