Got a brand new guide up for an old #MonsterHunter game! https://t.co/xBoFNpzPDS This one took forever to make, but I hope it's helpful for the small group of peeps who still play Dos ^.^

@Dr_Nimbos Hey, I totally understand being excited and thinking things were legitimate! I hope things get figured out and have a great time in these older titles~

I really don't like making this kind of post, but currently I would discourage anyone from using or promoting the MH Brasil PS2 Server.

I'll explain why below:

The project has copied a lot of resources from Old School Monster Hunter Servers, without asking any of the team.

@lutyrannus You know why I am here. Stop devaluing your madness :>

[MH United @mhuTweets]

@SashaTheSheep_ @decent_courage @BannedDino Yeah, I’d argue at this point it would also be unique and recognition of the series pre-World history.

Again, it’s not going to happen, but I am sure they’ll cook something up.

@lutyrannus Yeah, there’s a reason I record everything streamed separately ~.~ Lost a lot of Speedrun footage early on.

Holy shit, Alphadivine (@mhuTweets) just broke the White Fatalis solo record in MH2!!!!!

After months of work, I am proud to present:

"Making Monster Hunter", a feature-length documentary on the development of the very first Monster Hunter game.

RT's appreciated!

@cozycococonut I could be wrong, but I think for a good number of people, it’s out of convenience.

Why bother learning and engaging with older titles with a ton of fun and unique qualities, when you can just watch a small bit of gameplay and call it clunky jank instead ~.~

🧵(1/7) Introducing openSNAP - SN@P server emulator

As you might already know, we revived Japanese versions of CAPCOM's Monster Hunter, Biohazard Outbreak and Auto Modellista games thanks to packet captures from the original Biohazard Outbreak servers.

@ceracymmetry @Oceaniz96 Well, it is its sequel, so it will share a good chunk of its DNA. If you want more specific advice, read the dialogue, take your time, and balance your online & offline progression together.

Hopefully, I’ll have my beginner’s guide out at some point in the next month to help.

@ceracymmetry @Oceaniz96 I’ve got additional resources if you’re looking for some, but genuinely going in with an open mind is more than half the battle.

[MH United @mhuTweets]

@Oceaniz96 As far as Dos Tavern songs, it’s up there, but I think Echoes from the Wilderness gives it a run for it’s money.
