His Highness Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi’s words to HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan upon assuming rule:
“You are not a stranger to us.”

And he never was.

The UAE knows its President — because it raised him:
👦 Youth: His people witnessed his upbringing, his discipline, his service
🪖 Service: From supporting Herst to the Armed Forces — learning duty before command
🏛️ Leadership: Deputy Crown Prince, then Crown Prince, now a leader his land is proud of and his people take pride in
💍 One of us: The nation shared his joys, celebrated his marriage, walked with him through every chapter

He was never a stranger. He is a son of this land before being its ruler.

He inherited Zayed’s wisdom — the vision to build a nation from sand.
He took from Khalifa’s kindness — the compassion to unite a people.
So he is resolute when resolve is needed, and merciful when mercy is required.

This is leadership forged over decades, not declared overnight.
This is trust earned, not demanded.

Blessed are we to have him as a leader… and may God preserve him for us 🤲🇦🇪

They exchanged #Ramadan greetings and conveyed sincere wishes for His Highness’s continued health and well-being, and for the UAE's continued progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.

Syedna commended the government’s ongoing social and economic transformation efforts and offered prayers for the nation’s peace and prosperity.

True story:
A little girl was sitting on the sidewalk in front of the school, waiting for her father. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed noticed her, approached her gently, and offered to give her a ride.

But she politely declined with complete innocence, firmly holding to her father’s advice: “Don’t ride with anyone.”

He asked one of his companions: “Doesn’t she know me?”

She replied: “I know him, but I can’t ride with anyone except my father.”

At that moment, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed smiled, sat down beside her on the sidewalk, and waited with her until her father arrived.

This is our leader, our father, and our brother. By God, no matter how much we pour our love for him, it will never be enough 🇦🇪❤️
