@derpaderpederp In all likelihood the “fee derived portion” will end up being lower. GMX has treasury in the form of arb tokens and other assets besides the $GMX token. Also, they may pass the collection plate around to the ten or so audit firms that previously looked at GLP and v1 trades
@orikron To be fair, the Chinese gov owns a portion of every business in China. Every foreign company is actually a separate joint venture company btwn the CCP & that foreign entity. Ford, Disney, heck even Cheesecake Factory.
@TheFigen_ Flasback to when i flew an air canada flight from dfw to toronto. Cute young woman pulled out her hardcover of 50 Shades (this was around 2011 or whever it first came out) and after a few minutes began to breathe really heavily.
Honestly i was kinda uncomfortable.
@RealPData The poster is likely an Indian national pretending to be a US conservative on twitter as a means of engagement farming & to snag the occasional influence check.
THERE ARE MANY SUCH CASES
@excathedraa@Veggietableh@ByYourLogic Yeah that was one of the implications of the Kevin Finnerty episodes. Tony always had the brains & the drive to excel at upper-mid-level management and make an upper-class income.
He just chose the path that fed his anxieties.
@ChivalryGuild Walsh interacts in good faith with A LOT of fake “US trad conservative” twitter personalities that are really just engagement-farmers in the subcontinent.
He needs to stop falling for so much of the bait.
@dpinsen@conorsen Trump doing his normal Art of the Deal routine of asking for more then “settling” for a targeted goal will always be labeled as “Drumpf Lost LOL” by that crowd. They’re inconsequential.
If the tariff and other changes really do end up eliminating income tax, they’ll still cry.
@calendar1bot@NateSilver538 It accomplished several things:
- it humanized Vance to a crowd that only had a warped view of him
- it displayed Walz as having a resting face of “confused & open mouthed”
- it further supported the notion that the dems were fixated on the wrong issues during the election
@NateSilver538 I don’t know what you’re talking about Nate. According to “the vibe” during the election, Walz’ comment about Republicans being “weird” was the single greatest win in political history, and was going to ensure a 50 state sweep on election day.
I implore you — if you are viewing the election of Pope Leo XIV through the lens of American left/right politics, stop now for the good of your soul
Celebrate the election of the Holy Father
Pray for him and his pontificate
Pray that you may have the humility to follow him where he calls you to grow
Trust in the Holy Spirit, for the Holy Spirit will never abandon Christ’s Church
You are not called to commentate on the Holy Father’s pontificate
You are called to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God
You are called to be a saint
Focus on that, and everything else will fall into place
@WallStreetApes Read the recent book Ultraprocessed. Its a lay-mans book written by a British doc, and it opens with him marveling that his icecream never melts despite being in a hot car for a long stretch
@wanyeburkett I like this response, as it gets to the heart of the matter and past the “almost no petty crime in Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, etc despite being mostly impoverished”, or how SF’s Chinatown had the highest unemployment in the 60s yet lowest crime stats.
