Several stores celebrated Doctors’ Day yesterday and they needed proof of identification.
I saw someone posted theirs and it’s a laryngoscope!! Somewhere a nurse in charge of emergency trolley must be in panic, searching for that one missing laryngoscope 😂😂😂
Oh apparently 10 October is also Doctors’ Day here. (I didn’t know that. World Mental Health Day is much more important to me)
So, Happy (Belated) Doctors’ Day to me and to those who celebrate.

10 October every year is the World Mental Health Day.
This year’s theme “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voice, Real Change” reminds us that listening to people who experience mental health conditions is just as important…

You don’t have to fully understand someone’s struggle to treat them with compassion.
Listen to understand, not to respond. Believe that their experiences are real, even when you can’t see them.

People change. We all change. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I would never be that me again, but I am happy now.
We can still be happy without being who we used to be. And that’s okay.
We’re going to be okay 💚🤍
7. My story
We’ll lean away from facts today. I’m going to share a bit about myself.
I was diagnosed during the third year of medschool. The same year after my cousin passed, I had a severe episode with self-harm ideation that required me a 10-day hospital stay.
The journey is so tiring. I wanted to just give in to the silence so many times, but at the same time, I wanted to get better. I wanted my life back.
I wanted to be myself again.
Here’s the thing: I am no longer sad, but I am not me anymore.
