@acharmedlifein@MeghUpdates@narendramodi@PMOIndia Dogs are simple. Pretty easy to predict their nature unlike humans.
By your logic, Men around you or me or anyone carry way way more malice than any living creatures. What is your solution for that? I am asking u because you seem to have strong opinion for people’s suffering
@acharmedlifein@MeghUpdates@narendramodi@PMOIndia I have been living around so many stray dogs since the time I can remember. Never got bitten, never even got chased by dogs. Its been more than 30 years of biteless. I dont know where you live or how you treat the dogs around you which made them aggressive.+
@MeghUpdates Any scheme to control the cockroaches explosion?
With what we have seen I don't think sterilization is needed but any vaccination possible?
The dog was literally resting peacefully when the Saif Naqvi ran him over THRICE.
Even after being hit, he wagged his tail, asking the only way he knew for mercy from the same species hurting him.
That is not just cruelty. That is cold-blooded murder. If you find it within you to hurt a helpless animal, what’s stopping you from hurting a human next?
If @DelhiPolice reduce repeated running over to an “accident” because the accused has connections, they are not investigating the crime. They are protecting it.
PROSECUTE!!!
Supporting the call for a new 'Animal Welfare Ministry' in India to protect the rights of our animals.
Let’s amplify this movement together and stand up for those who cannot speak for themselves. 🇮🇳🐕🐈

This post is on a video and a perspective shared by @true_bharat24x7
We both watched this SAME video.
I saw a heavily pregnant, (or an old, obese female) monkey sitting in a corner, quietly eating a piece of fruit. Not attacking anyone. Not chasing anyone. Not threatening anyone.
A woman walks up with a stick and hits her hard for no apparent reason.
The monkey, who can barely walk without support, simply gets up and leaves. She does not retaliate. She does not attack. She does not even attempt to defend herself. In that moment, she showed more restraint than many humans would have if they were hit on their head while eating.
Watching it left a lump in my throat, a knot in my stomach, and that sinking sense of helplessness that animal lovers know all too well. My only question was: WHY?
You watched the same video and called the woman “brave”. You applauded her act of beating a pregnant monkey. You celebrated the act as some kind of victory over an “intruder”.
That difference in perception is precisely the problem.
She could have shooed her away without hitting her. She could have waited a few minutes for her to finish eating. She could have chosen patience over cruelty.
Instead, she chose violence against a vulnerable animal. And many chose to cheer.
What surprises me is that the very same people who condemn insensitivity in other situations often celebrate it when the victim is an animal.
When a daughter-in-law is humiliated, bullied or treated without empathy, society rightly calls it cruelty. When a vulnerable animal is beaten for no reason, the same lack of empathy is suddenly applauded as courage.
But compassion is not something we switch on and off depending on who is standing in front of us.
Empathy is a habit that is cultivated. Either we cultivate empathy, or we cultivate cruelty.
The way we treat the weakest and most helpless among us reflects the kind of society we are building.
Before celebrating acts of cruelty, ask yourself:
What kind of world do you want to live in - one that responds to inconvenience with compassion, or one that responds with hatred ?

Seeing the images of the Padma Awards investiture ceremony, one cannot but help laud @narendramodi and @AmitShah for the marvellous work they’ve done in ensuring the truly deserving (and often unsung) great Indians, are honoured.
I don't get the animal haters' consistent need to compete with animals. You are a human being. You are the smartest mammal. So, why does it bother you that other people care about animals?
As a human, nobody is killing you in a slaughterhouse, nobody is pouring acid over you, or beating you with sticks. As a human, you have a voice, use it if somebody is doing all the above to you!
Why do you have to come to animal rights spaces and spew venom there? Why do you have to compete with animals on Twitter for strangers' affection?
Cruelty cannot be rebranded as governance. @BhagwantMann, focus on a robust Animal Birth Control (ABC) program instead of unscientific, aggressive elimination drives. Punjab deserves humane solutions! #SavePunjabDogs#BoycottAAP
Dogs did not create the violence of abandonment, urban neglect, starvation, abuse and broken systems. Humans did. Yet it is always the animal that stands trial for surviving the world we made.
If you are a dog lover in India, you may wish to accept (or continue to live in denial) that our Indies face an existential threat.
It is time to act if you truly love dogs. Walk the talk. Lead by example. Adopt Indies and get every kind person you know to adopt them as well.
Justice Sandeep Mehta : the judgment authored by you has opened the floodgates of unacceptable cruelty to sentient beings. It’s unacceptable as per all norms of decency and humanity. It’s barbaric. #SavePunjabDogs#BoycottAAP
The Supreme Court stray dog judgment fails every principle of natural justice.
“No one should be a judge in their own cause” yet humans sat in judgment over their own actions, while the voiceless were left out. They had no voice to reveal how brutal human actions have been toward them.
“Hear the other side” — But whose voice was truly heard? The animals had none of their own. Even those who spoke for them have been silenced.
“A judgment must rest on reason” — Treating every dog as a threat or a rabid one is not reasoning.
When one side’s so called “justice” becomes the other side’s death sentence / life imprisonment, there is no longer law or justice.
And when justice begins to echo power, silence is not an option.
