Huge respect to the crew this morning. After a weekend full of design errors thrown at the carpenters, they still got the build over the line — now loading up for an early delivery.
And the giveaway? Pizza boxes in the kitchen… the late-night fuel of champions. 🍕💪

A first for @brumhippodrome, using the Patrick Studio to produce their original family 'first musical' for children. A simple glittery moon and sparkling treads, enabling The Jingleclaw (played by Alexia MacIntosh) to cause havoc and mayhem.

Can we create a fallen tree root, as if a huge 8m tree has fallen and ripped up the earth? Can this tree have a trunk created in sections? Oh, and can the actors now climb over the tree? Here are some pictures to show the growth of such a tree.

Taking an old 'matriarch' of a set, that has worked it's way through many productions in different opera houses around the World and giving it a new lease of life. Lots of scenic art later, the set was ready to be sent and is currently at Sydney Opera House until 28th March 2025.
