@PaulTreyvaud To be fair, he didn’t exactly show compassion for family members who had to watch their loved ones die through a hospital window or attend their funeral on zoom in 2020.
You reap what you sow. I have no sympathy for him or his family because when it mattered, he didn’t for mine
A new cohort of Irish people - farmers and hauliers - are finding out what the people of Newtownmountkennedy, Coolock and Clonmel found out two years ago...
The days of the country guard are gone. The modern garda is not your friend. They are the enforcement arm of the state and they will do it with fervour.
They will do very little when you need them on a Saturday night after an assault outside a chip shop, or when travellers come to strip the gutters off your house or when drug dealers set your vehicles on fire to intimidate you into settling a family member's drug debt.
But they will beat the sh*t out of you when you go against the authoritarian actions of the state.
Important to internalise.
As the Government announce the return of full student fees and an end to cost of living packages, they continue to dish out taxpayers' money to people who have contributed not 1 cent to this country.
Today, Minister of State for Migration, Colm Brophy, announced €3.5m will be given to organisations for Integration projects including:
• Transportation - the provision of bicycles for IP Applicants
• LGBTQI+ – Initiatives aimed at supporting IP applicants who are members of the LGBTQI+ community
• Funding for the production of media shows to bring visibility to
the struggles of LGBTQI+ members of the IP community
• Intercultural Awareness – projects that highlight the culture and customs of migrants
AND OF COURSE
• Combatting Racism and Xenophobia – projects aimed at addressing potential issues
of racism and xenophobia among local communities
So, when you are trying to decide between food and electricity, or heat and college fees - just remember that your tax money is being spent on buying bicycles for IP Applicants, creating LGBT content for IP Applicants, promoting the customs and cultures of IP Applicants and of course addressing how racist you are against these same IP Applicants.
@griptmedia@Ben_Scallan Most enter via the north so taking fingerprints at an airport isn’t going to make much of a difference really. Classic misdirection here
@Independent_ie Can you please explain what is 'extreme' about wanting women to be able to walk the street at night without feeling unsafe?
What is 'extreme' about wanting our young to be able to buy a house?
What is 'extreme' about wanting school & GP places available?
You're the extremist
