Endless propaganda has convinced Americans that bombs dropping in the Middle East is “normal.” As if those families don’t have jobs, school, hopes & dreams. As if every life lost isn’t someone’s entire universe.
Geographical luck. That’s the only difference between you & them.
Finally - people keep saying Israel is using the "Gaza doctrine" in Lebanon.
But this is not the Gaza doctrine.
First Gaza, now south Lebanon. But then the North. Then beyond borders.
Because this is the *Israeli doctrine*. It's time we start calling things by its name.
Israel is preparing to illegally annex almost 20% of Lebanon's territory.
In the past days Israel has bombed all bridges disconnecting the area south of the Litani river from the rest of the country:
(Bombing civilian infrastructure is a war crime)
Be aware: this is not about Hezbollah. This is part of the "Greater Israel" project.
Israel's Defense Minister himself has announced this is the beginning of permanent illegal annexation:
At the scene of the Israeli strike in Beirut. Looks like a targeted attack although the army told me nobody died.
What you don’t see in the picture is the dozens of nearby residential buildings and houses w/ windows smashed and shaken residents.
Israeli bombed an apartment in the Nabaa area - Bourj Hammoud at 5am.
This is East Beirut, a traditionally Armenian area and completely out of the normal area of engagement.
No report of dead or injuries so far.
When all war taboos fell in Gaza the international community pretended it was a detail. We are living the consequences now on a regional scale. And there is nothing stopping it from happening elsewhere.
A horrific massacre just took place on the Beirut beach and there isn’t a single headline about it in Western media.
There was wall-to-wall coverage of the Bondi Beach attacks.
But Arabs are so dehumanized that Israel can slaughter displaced Lebanese people living in tents on the beach and it doesn’t even make the news.
Israel now calling for forced displacement (war crime) of all zones up until the Zahrani river.
This is a good chunk of the territory & just 50km from Beirut.
Will the international community stand by idle as Israel destroys and takes Lebanon just as it did with Gaza?
IDF just issued a warning to a building in the heart of Beirut. This is the furthest east Israel has bombed Beirut (in this war).
This spot is only ~1km from the parliament.
Next to main artery & the “Christian” parts of town, usually consider “safer” from Israeli attacks.
This is my account of what I saw in Venezuela when I had the rare chance to visit it in 2018.
It’s a good insight into the complexity and division of opinion among the ppl but also about what brings them together in loving beautiful Venezuela.

Kim was known for chasing underground stories while others chased headlines, for shedding light on communities often overlooked or forgotten. She was a great reporter, a great daughter and sister.
By applying and putting your story out there you are continuing her legacy. @IWMF
“I’m never going to get it” - that’s what I thought when I applied for this in 2020. And then…I won!
So if you think you or your story are not good enough - apply anyway.
Need help with your application? DM me- I’m happy to help.
